Hey Susan good to hear from you. I can relate to your future quest as I spent many years in the Bay Area tech field and developed a hankering to relocate to Sonoma County. There are many great communities from Occidental to Sebastopol to Healdsburg and Santa Rosa and Glen Ellen. It is easy to enjoy them all no matter your home base. So depending on the type of terrain, the type of weather, the schools, the dining, you name it there is a lot of variety in the Sonoma county real estate market. Cheers!

Hi Pam,
I'll be back in Frenchman's Creek, Half Moon Bay today and, again, there are many open homes in our area. If I wasn't working today, like you, I'd be very tempted to take a drive to your corner of paradise.

Pam

thanks for the comment and link to the Redfin blog. Glad to find your site. We'll be grazing for property over the next year, hoping to relocate in early 2009, or maybe even a bit later if the market doesn't level out. Love Sebastopol. I used to have meetings at O'Reilly & Associates a couple times per year and came to really enjoy the area, hence our retirement home search including Sonoma County. I'll bookmark you blog and check in now and then.
