All of our grapes are ripening quickly in this heat and all the winemakers are pushing to get their grapes while they are in such perfect sugar/acid balance. The grapes look and taste fantastic: 2008 should be an awesome year for pinot. 2006 and 2007 also produced wonderful wines - good years to buy. Nice blog, Pam.
