Map of Sonoma County MLS Areas

This map is a handy guide to the various areas of Sonoma County used to organize the BAREIS MLS.  (That is the Bay Area Information Services Multiple Listings Service. Quite a mouthful, hence the abbreviations!)  What that means is when you do a home search for property in Sonoma County, these are the physical map areas that will be included.  For example, Sebastopol on this map is much larger than the actual city limits of Sebastopol.  It includes all the surrounding areas of the town of Sebastopol as well and Occidental and Graton.  Many properties may be listed in a particular town but in fact are in “unincorporated” Sonoma County.

Santa Rosa is so large and has so much housing inventory that it is divided into four compass quadrants, NE, NW, SE and SW.  You can click on any of these map areas to see the MLS code and the map boundary lines.  This is also helpful for you out of town buyers to get a feel for the various communities.  Many of the communities have their own pages on this site–see the list on the right. Also, each community page will have a map with all the listings for that community as well as tools for searching various price ranges or on your own.
